Terms of Use
Please read this first
Meds2Take is not medical advice and is not an emergency service. It helps you keep track of the plan your doctor or pharmacist gave you. Always follow their directions and the medicine label. If you think someone is having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 112 in India, 999 in the UK) right away.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Corcam Solutions LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Meds2Take", "we", "us"), covering the Meds2Take website, web app and mobile apps (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who can use Meds2Take
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You may add other people, such as your children or parents, and track their medicines, as long as you have their permission or the legal authority to manage their care.
3. Not medical advice
- The Service is a record-keeping and organizing tool. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it does not recommend medicines or doses.
- Information shown in the Service, including examples, suggestions for what a medicine is for, duplicate medicine notices and supply estimates, is for convenience only and may be incomplete or wrong.
- Do not start, stop or change a medicine because of anything in the Service. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
- The Service may not alert you to every missed dose, interaction, allergy or problem. You remain responsible for taking and giving medicines correctly.
4. Scanning labels
The label scanner uses an automated AI model to read a photo you take. It can misread names, strengths and directions. You must check every field against the label before saving. We are not responsible for errors in scanned information that you save without correcting.
5. Your account and your records
- You sign in with a Google account, and you are responsible for keeping it secure.
- Your records are yours. They are stored in your own Google Drive or on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. You give us permission to access and process them only to provide the Service to you.
- You are responsible for keeping a backup. If you do not connect Google Drive, your records exist only on your device and can be lost if the device is lost or the browser data is cleared.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service. For example, do not:
- break the law, or track someone's medicines without their permission or legal authority;
- try to access other people's data, our servers or systems without permission, or get around limits such as the daily scan limit;
- overload, disrupt, copy, reverse engineer or resell the Service, or use automated means to access it except as we allow;
- upload photos or content that you do not have the right to use, or that contain other people's information without their permission.
7. Early access, plans and payments
The Service is currently offered free during early access, and features may change, be limited or be removed. If we introduce paid plans, we will show the price and terms before you buy. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are handled by those stores under their terms, including refunds. Purchases made on our website will be described at checkout. Unless the plan terms say otherwise, subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. You will always be able to view and export the records you already entered, even if a paid plan ends.
8. Our content and trademarks
The Service, including its software, design, text and the Meds2Take name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You may not use our name or logo without our written permission.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on services from others, including Google (sign-in and Drive) and Cloudflare (hosting and AI processing). Their terms and policies also apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their services.
10. Changes and ending use
We may update the Service and these Terms. If a change to the Terms is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the change. You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we stop offering the Service; if we stop offering it, we will try to give you reasonable notice so you can save your records.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free or secure, or that reminders, backups or scans will always work.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, health outcomes, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.
Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, to the extent the law allows.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Denton County, Texas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
15. App store terms
If you use a Meds2Take app from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Similar terms apply to Google Play.
